FAQ’s

01

Can I use CMT Cloud to register and monitor 3rd party devices other than Worldsensing edge devices and gateways?

Not yet, but this is already included in the roadmap.

02

Can I deploy CMT Cloud by Worldsensing for existing projects?

Yes, CMT Cloud may be used for existing deployments provided that the gateways and edge devices are updated.

03

Are all the Worldsensing gateways compatible with CMT Cloud?

The 4G rugged gateway - cloud is compatible with CMT Cloud. Older models will only require a firmware update.

04

Does network redundancy mean that there needs to be an overlap in the areas covered by individual gateways?

Yes.

05

How is gateway identification processed? Before, you had to log into individual gateways with their unique network IDs and passwords.

You now only need one single set of credentials for logging in the network to access all individual gateways. No need to keep track of individual gateway login credentials.
